Artist SpY put together this buggie instillation on the side of a building in Madrid. 150 fake cameras on a grid, pointed in a single direction. It’s an obvious, simple, but effective symbol for social commentary on the invasion of privacy. The fact that they’re fake cameras does little to diminish their significance, unless you know it’s an art project. It’s enough to disrupt a pedestrian’s day, as if the NSA decided to be cute.
