The premier global underground music show Boiler Room is hosting a live stream event tomorrow in San Francisco at 7p.m.-11p.m. (PST), 10p.m.-2a.m. (EST), and 12p.m.-2p.m. in Japan. DJs featured for the event are Q-Bert, Shortkut, Platurn, and producer Mophono.
If you’re not familiar with Boiler Room, it’s a global underground music event that is simultaneously live streamed online, featuring titans of underground music, as well as up and coming artists in various underground music scenes. The live events are private invite only, but the beauty of the Boiler Room is the recorded video which is available for anyone to check out online. Boiler Room’s setup is usually an intimate one where the DJ is surrounded by the dancing party goers (not for the claustrophobic). A lot of candid moments between DJs and the crowd can and have occurred. DJs at Boiler Room events let lose and play whatever they want, which makes for some interesting sets.
