Born With It is a short film about an African-Japanese boy who identifies as Japanese, but the world sees him differently. Written and directed by Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour, Jr., the story explores isolation, alienation, and racism. Since TMG is currently featuring artist Peter Adamyan, when asked to list his top five flicks, his initial reaction seemed like a deep exhale followed by a “Shit man, that’s really difficult.” He didn’t waste no slots though.
